"By creating a trail of potted plants running from the pole-shaped portion of the site through the center of the building, we were able to offer the client a design that maintained a certain degree of openness. This trail of plants splits the building in two, ensuring that adequate light enters the interior from the south-facing façade while also functioning as a "path" that cuts across the center of the building. We designed the layout of the living room so that the inhabitants could enjoy the presence of this "green belt" over the course of their daily routines."
