USGBC Multifamily Midrise Design Competition

The Competition

The USGBC Multifamily Midrise Design Competition, presented by the U.S. Green Building Council and sponsored by Autodesk, is designed to provide innovative industry leading architects a unique opportunity to present their solutions to sustainable multifamily midrise design. This competition calls upon applicants to design a new 4-6 story residential mixed-use building in combination with the gut-rehab renovation of an existing building on a specific site in the City of New Orleans.

Competition Schedule

• May 1, 2011 - Competition Opens
• July 1, 2011 - Registration Deadline
• Aug 1, 2011 - Submissions Due
• Aug 2011 - Judging of Entries
• Sept 16, 2011 - Winner Selected
• Oct 4-7, 2011 - Winner Announced During the 2011 Greenbuild Conference and Expo in Toronto
